Named after its city, Lake Lugano is a glacial lake bordering Southern Switzerland and Northern Italy. One of the calmest waters I’ve ever traveled. We drove from Lake Cuomo to Lake Lugano, meeting up with my best friend Valerie of 25 years! The ambience was much like Italy and Mediterranean. Many people don’t know, but it’s the only Italian speaking part of Switzerland. Packed with extravagant restaurants and boutiques along the shore. Warm waters to swim in, kayak and walk along. One of the best and serene places to visit in all of Switzerland. A must-have on your travel list. A trip to remember.
