Cinque Terre

The sight of the terraces on the rugged, steep abyss looking at the sea makes you feel like you are in a dream picture post card! I took the train from Florence into Cinque Terre because its not accessible by car due to the natural landscape.

Cinque Terre literally means Five Lands, and it’s comprised of five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore.  Great for hiking, FYI.

Manarola

I ate at La Cantina de Miky. I had the farinata- chickpea/garbanzo bean flour fried squares with a salad and a cocktail. They had a wide range of menu options and wines. Even the foccacia in 20 flavors they serve on the beach is crazy amazing.

I got a massage at the beach. The weather was warm with a breeze, ideal to fall a sleep on the beach chair.

The water was warm and as calm as Italy invites!
